Le Poppycock have released a fantastic range of animations and props at this months MOM called ‘Devils Advocate’ (Click to see). There are Thirteen (nice touch!) poses to collect on the gacha. Included are both standard animations and animated wearable props. This set is really good fun and I was excited about doing something creepy with it. I also spotted a couple of awesome pictures on flickr from other bloggers and would like to draw your attention to their incedible work, click HERE and HERE.

A real short post, I just wanted to take another picture and shake off some more cobwebs. As per my last post, I continued with the Slink body and Labyrinth mesh head, I’m still pleased with how it looks. Men Only Monthly opening soon and I took a cheeky cam around the early setups and found the cardigan and jean combo from F.A.T. There are also scarves and a couple of belts from the same set to buy seperatley. The belt part annoys me, I am of the opinion pants and belts should come together and not be added extras….it feels like milking my Linden! After buying the belts I wasn’t all that keen on them which frustrated me some more! Big fan of both the cardigan (which comes with a hud to change the undershirt colour) and jeans though and I think the combo looks great with the Addams chelsea style boots. As I have mentioned Chelsea….big shout out to Chelsea FC who have had a rough start to the season but beat Arsenal today 2-0. London rivalry and…I hate them ****’s

After taking a much needed break from SL I came back to find the Slink Physique Male Mesh Body was available. I was quite excited by this! The TMP product is a great looking body but I found it very glitchy, so I was intrigued to put a new one to the test. So far, my verdict is very positive. I do not think it looks as nice as TMP when nude but it seems much more useable. It took me a while playing around with appliers, both Slink and Omega and in truth sometimes I feel like I am just adding things and clicking buttons hoping it works but the end result was good. To go with the new body there is a selection of mesh heads and a range of facial hair from Labyrinth at TMD so I thought it was as good a time as any to test these too. Very similar views when comparing them to TMP heads. I think the TMP range is…..’prettier’ for want of a more manly word! but these offer something different and are very reasonably priced. Being Slink and Omega suitable is a big plus and in the long run is going to allow for much more flexibility. I would suggest the body is a must buy and the heads make a very good side project.

The Boy Who Misses The Waves.
Ill in real life….like crazy ill, so I am gonna keep this short! The Men Only Monthly event opens tomorrow and is a must visit. When I poked my head in not all stores were set up so I’ll be visiting again tomorrow. As mentioned before in a previous post there is a new skin from Clef de Peau called Taylor which is a must have for your collection! Also a few hair options and other bits and bobs. Le Poppycock have a gacha offering called Surf’s Up. 15 poses with surf board props. I chose not to use the prop board for my picture but they come out great when I tested them. Tomahawk….it is actually referring to the tattoo I am wearing. I recently got sent a notecard list from Reckless detailing some older tattoos that they had updated to include the latest appliers for Slink, Maitreya, Belleza & TMP (if TMP wasn’t already included). I requested some updates and it was a little exciting when they got sent to me. Tomahawk was one of my favourite tattoos and I was delighted to be able to use it on my mesh body. In truth, the quality of the tattoo doesn’t quite match up to the quality of the latest tattoos Reckless produce but there is something nice about being able to use these older ones. Made my day anyway 🙂
We are just days away from Men Only Monthly and Clef de Peau will be offering a new skin there called Taylor. In the picture I am wearing it in T4 with the new Beard No.4 in brown. The skin has some great freckle and blemish details and it seemed to lend itself perfectly for a red head which was ideal as I recently promised someone I would try going red! This in turn leads on to Hitch by Damselfly which is at ‘The Boys of Summer‘ event and I also bought the cool looking Holster from Angel of Metal.

I went to ‘The Boys of Summer‘ event but quickly got distracted (by Kustom9) and ended up looking like I am dressed for Winter! The hair I am wearing came from the event, Dante by :::Phoenix::: and after a bit of fiddling I think it came out really nice, infact I should have done a close up to show it off better from another angle. I also picked up a hair called Leon from the same creator, again I like it and I’m sure I’ll blog that soon. Even though I’m not wearing any of it here, I picked up quite a few summer bits (shorts and colourful tops) from the event so it is definitely worth a visit. As I said above, I got distracted by Kustom9. Not loads for men, which is fairly normal but I did pick up cool stuff from David Heather & Gabriel and then I got drawn to the Guitar Case Gacha by CLAVv. A Range of guitar cases either as holdables or for your back (please note they are separate gacha items) in some neat textures. The two rare options are black and brown, they come as a holdable case (pictured) or as a rezzable display option that has a gun inside rather than the expected guitar! Very neat and well worth trying to win. The last item I got there was the pictured trench coat from Overhigh. Now…I have lots of good things to say about this coat, awesome look, great texturing etc etc but I have found a negative. Now this could just be me but I could not make my hands fit inside the cuffs correctly. I tried multiple types of mesh hands, editing my shape and even took suggestions from friends but still found no solution. The creators vendor picture shows the same flaw and that is a real shame.

MIZU…I had fun at this event, there really isn’t all that much for men but as I have an Asian themed garden on top of my skybox I found some furnishings and ornaments I really liked so It was a very worthy trip for me and I ended up buying the wet shirt from Gabriel. I was really dubious at first and actually got a demo which is really unlike me, I normally chance my arm but I am going to say I am delighted with it. The wet look effect is really really really good and the fact it has a HUD with transparency options (and sounds that make my pancreas tingle) is a real nice touch. Another event I visited was one I hadn’t heard of and found thanks to Seraphim. It is called the Alchemy Event and the genre is more along the fantasy line. I picked up the horns pictured as well as a mask and a few other bits. I will definitely be keeping my eye on this event to see how it grows.
The skin….Lucas from Clef de Peau, I blogged this skin recently and I am still as in love with it as I was then. This time I opted to try the T2 version which is lighter than the T4 I usually wear. It’s gonna take something special to knock this one off of its perch.

Real?…….Of Course!
I love how these pictures came out and there are lots of bits I want to talk about but…I HAVE to start with the skin. Lucas by Clef de Peau @ TMD. This is my new favourite skin, more than that I am going to say that I think this is the best skin available right now for TMP heads. I am wearing the freckled version and they work so well with the rest of the skin details. Along with the skin there are new brows and sideburn/facial hair options. I normally like to play around with different brows from different creators to make my face a bit more unique but Marco is spot on with these brows. I do the same with lips but again..these ones are fantastic. Referring back to the sideburns….the unique styling is great and kind of reminds me a touch of Cpt Jack Rackham in Black Sails.
My outfit…from Redgrave, again currently @ TMD, has a real classy but casual summer look to it and even with new shoe options around I couldn’t resist going back to a previous Redgrave offering as they work so well. Emilia nailed it creating this and I hope that one day we will get additional colour options for the shirt.
The Chapter Four event has this great watch from DYNASTY available in a few colour combo’s, my pictures do not show it clear enough but you can take a better peek HERE. Le Poppycock have also produced more great pose sets. Two for women and one male set called Footnote, at under 100L how can you say no! You can see these sets here, here & here. All of the poses I used above are from the male set.
My Final words go to Monso who just keep producing quality hair for men and David Heather, with a great gacha collection at The Arcade right now (guide), the rare watch box is a real thing of beauty!

A Black Tie What?
TMD, TCF & FaMESHed all came around so fast and also…. The Arcade, when this event comes around I start to understand how people lose their homes to gambling!!! I really don’t need to talk too much about The Arcade, I’m sure many of you are broke or licking wounds already but if you haven’t yet been then find the shopping guide HERE. Bits and bobs I’ve picked up there will no doubt feature in upcoming blog posts.
I am wearing a new tattoo from one of my sponsors, Inhale Tattoo Co, which can currently be found at The Chapter Four but I want to focus on a furniture set called ‘Roadside Attraction’. Created by the extremely talented Nebulae Voom and currently available at The Mens Dept. The complete set comprises a picnic table, a beer bucket and mail box.
The table has a nice set of poses for singles, couples and friends, the beer bucket provides beers free of charge to you and your guests, once all the beers are removed it turns over into a very cool seat with three sit poses (which is a great little gimmick) and the mail box (not pictured) has a collection of couples poses.
